GNOG has been announced as a quirky adventure for Project Morpheus and PS4.
In development at KO-OP, the game is a rather peculiar puzzler about cosmic monsters, which will head to PS4 next year with Project Morpheus support.
As detailed on the PlayStation Blog, GNOG will see you interacting with giant monster heads that apparently hold an entire universe within the diorama-like back of their heads.
Interacting with the monsters’ faces will change things up in the back of their noggins – or gnoggins as the game gets its name from.

Based on the game’s debut trailer that you can see below, developer KO-OP has attracted quite the set of backers for this Morpheus title.
Sony is helping to fund GNOG as part of its Pub Fund programe, the same indie initiative that has helped published games such as Guacamelee!, Metrico, Ruftrausers and even Papo & Yo.
It seems GNOG is also part of the Double Fine Presents label, which is the Grim Fandango developer’s way of saying it is contributing to a game, but at a distance.
Originally GNOG was intended to be a 2D platformer.
“There was, of course, a lot of experimentation before we found the perfect formula,” said studio director Saleem Dabbous. “Once we decided to work in 3D and focus on bringing the monster heads to life, though, we knew we were on to something special and intriguing.”
