Galaxy Note 7 design: Is this proof of Samsung’s Edge?
It seems that Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Note 6 (or Note 7?) probably will feature a curvy design after all.
Tech site Phone Arena has leaked what it claims might be official Samsung marketing materials, revealing new information about the new Samsung phablet. The website says the marketing image was submitted by a source “who wishes to remain anonymous”, so we can’t say for sure how legitimate the photo really is.

The advertisement clearly heavily implies that Samsung’s next phone will feature its ‘Edge’-style display. The curved dual-edge aesthetic was first debuted on the Galaxy Note Edge, and most recently used on the critically acclaimed Galaxy S7 Edge. It’s also worth noting that there have been plenty of rumours suggesting Samsung is only releasing one variant of the Galaxy Note 6, specifically one with the quirky Edge design.
Samsung’s Galaxy S7 Edge
Samsung is expected to reveal the Galaxy Note 6 in early August, but the firm hasn’t released any official details just yet. Here are the rumoured specs for the phone:
- 5.77-inch screen
- 2K (QHD) display resolution
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 823 processor
- Adreno 530 GPU
- 6GB RAM
- 256GB storage
- 4,200mAh battery
- IP68-certified waterproof/dustproof body
Of course, until we hear official word from Samsung, take all such rumours, leaks, and speculation with due caution.
