We know the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will launch tomorrow, August 2, but new reports could offer an insight into when we can pre-order and buy the handset.
A source claiming to work for US cellular giant Verizon provided Phone Arena with a purported internal memo announcing pre-orders will commence on a day later on August 3rd.
The memo also suggests it will go on sale on August 19, more than two weeks later.
If the memo is to be believed, Verizon stores will also begin receiving the new Gear VR headset, which will support USB Type-C and micro USB, on August 4th.

It’s not yet clear whether Samsung is planning to continue its promotion of giving away a Gear VR to everyone purchasing a Galaxy Note 7.
New wireless charging pads will also arrive on that date, according to the alleged memo.
Assuming the memo is legitimate, it’ll be interesting to see whether those dates represent plans from other networks at home and abroad.
It’s less than 24 hours until we find out for sure. In the meantime, check out the video below for everything we know so far.
