Galaxy Note 5 and S6 Edge+ specs leak, launch imminent

It’s pretty much a dead cert that Samsung will unveil two new handsets at next week’s “Unpacked” event.

Lucky for us, both handsets have seemingly debuted ahead of time, courtesy of a new leak.

This latest round of unofficial info comes courtesy of the Middle Eastern Jarir Bookstore (1)(2), which has posted specs for both devices – the pages have now been removed.

Now there’s no way of knowing for sure what Samsung has in store for us just yet, but this leak seems to gel with earlier rumours.

Alleged Samsung Galaxy Note 5 specs:

  • 1,440 x 2,560 pixel screen resolution
  • Octa-core Exynos 7422 chip
  • 4GB RAM
  • 32GB/64GB storage options

  • 4,100mAh battery
  • Android 5.1 Lollipop OS
  • 169 grams
  • 7.6mm thickness

Alleged Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ specs:

  • Mali-T760 MP8 GPU
  • 4GB RAM
  • 32GB/64GB storage options

  • Android 5.1 Lollipop OS
  • 156 grams
  • 6.9mm thickness

Samsung is yet to publicly confirm any of this information, so take this report with a pinch of salt.

Whatever the case, we don’t have long to wait to find out the validity of this latest leak.
