Fujifilm FinePix F900EXR introduced

The Fujifilm FinePix F900EXR has been officially unveiled as the latest addition to the FujiFilm range of compact camera, offering 20x optical zoom and a 16-megapixel image sensor, all wrapped within a lightweight and travel-friendly body.

Playing host to the company’s new EXR Processor II, the Fujifilm FinePix F900EXR boasts super-fast startup times, shutter speeds and burst rates for instantaneous reactions times, helping ensure you don’t miss that vital shot.

Fujifilm also revealed its latest entry-level bridge camera, the Fujifilm FinePix S4800, with 30x FUJINON optical zoom, 16-megapixel CCD sensor and 3-inch monitor. The Fujifilm FinePix S4800 can record 720p HD movies and offers advanced Scene Recognition Auto features for both still and moving shots.

Fujifilm FinePix F900EXR Features
The Fujifilm FinePix F900EXR features a FUJINON 20x optical zoom that combines with an intelligent digital zoom for up to 40x magnification creating a 25mm to 500mm focal range.

A back-lit 16-megapixel 0.5-inch EXR-CMOS II sensor has been specially designed to assist the new Intelligent Hybrid AF system. The ability to switch between Phase Detection AF and Contract Detection AF instantly depending on the scene or subject makes the Fujifilm FinePix F900EXR very easy and quick to use, as the autofocus adapts immediately and focuses in as little as 0.5s.

An improved EXR Processor II for the Fujifilm FinePix F900EXR improves performance times considerably over its predecessors, with startup times of 1.1s, shot intervals of 0.5s and the ability to produce burst-mode rates of 11fps for a maximum of 5 frames makes this compact camera very responsive.

Capable of shooting film in 60fps HD quality, the Fujifilm FinePix F900EXR also offers new Art Filters for movies and photographs. Users can enhance their footage via the bright 3-inch, 920k dot resolution screen, using art modes such as toy Camera, Pop Colour or Miniture. New features also include a Motion Panorama 360 degree function to create seamless 360 degree panoramic shots of the user’s surroundings.

The Fujifilm FinePix F900EXR also offers Wi-Fi functionalities for wireless PC and smart device transfers, allowing users to quickly share and back-up their snaps using the free Fujifilm software and apps.

Fujifilm FinePix F900EXR Release Date and Price

Fujifilm has announced the Fujifilm FinePix F900EXR release date as sometime in April, with three colour options available: red, black and navy blue. The Fujifilm FinePix F900EXR price has been released as £279.99.

The FujiFilm FinePix S4800 will also be arriving in April with a good entry-level price tag of £149.99. The bridge camera will be offered in red, black and silver bodies.
