New design sketches and certification information have appeared for the OnePlus 2, prompting yet more questions concerning the phone's final specs.
As the days tick down to the official launch of the OnePlus 2 on July 27, we continue to receive new and surprising information.
It says something about the intrigue surrounding the phone that despite numerous leaks and confirmations, we still can't quite form a complete picture of the OnePlus One follow-up.
Just recently, for example, we received two very different snippets of information concerning the OnePlus 2, and both have us a little confused.
For one thing, the device has turned up at Bluetooth SIG for approval. Or rather, three models of the OnePlus 2 have turned up for approval.
Model numbers A2001, A2003 and A2005 are all vying for approval. What does it mean? Phandroid speculates that it could be three different storage capacities, or perhaps three different modems for different regions.
Interestingly, the A2003 designation appeared recently in a GeekBench benchmark with 4GB of RAM, which would be more memory than any other major flagship phone to date.
But that's not the other leak we're discussing here. That comes in the form of some design sketches for the OnePlus 2 that have hit the web through Business Insider.
They hint at details such as a stainless steel rim and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. The also reveal that the rear camera will have a dual-lens configuration, rather like the HTC One M8.
