Fresh Bloodborne screenshots and info released

From Software has released a batch of new screenshots for PS4 exclusive Bloodborne, along with some new details.

Ahead of its release in 2015, From Software and Sony has teased us with some new screenshots and fresh information on Bloodborne.

In the above screenshot, From Software revealed a never-seen-before character called Gyula. He is described as an “old veteran hunter who is said to possess amazing skill”.

Apparently you might run into him in the game in the old part of the city.

From Software also introduced Cainhurst castle, medieval castle that has frozen over and been abandoned by the “noble family” that once lived there.

“Its grand stature is visible from afar even through the thick fog of the lake, but getting there won’t be easy.”

The developer also treated us to a sneak peek at a new weapon – the transforming cane. On the one hand it’s a short range, melee weapon, but it can also transform into a whip, perfect for lashing out at enemies further away.

“Each weapon offers players a unique play style and strategy to leverage Bloodborne’s more pro-active combat style, light/heavy and short/long combo system.”

There were also details of the city of Yharman, under which lies “an expansive network of multi-levelled ruins”, which are crafted by something other than human hands.

Apparently there will be more details released during the PlayStation Experience on December 6 and 7.

“We hope you can join us for a live presentation at the keynote as well as our in-depth presentation at the show in just a few weeks.”
