O2 offering customers free Netflix for up to 12 months for a limited time
O2 has become the latest mobile operator to offer customers free access to Netflix.
Between now and August 8, new and existing O2 customers can claim either a free six- or twelve-month subscription to Netflix by plumping for one of a handful of select tariffs.

They are:
- O2 Refresh: 15GB (6 months Netflix)
- O2 Refresh: 25GB and above (12 months Netflix)
- SIM-Only: 18GB and above (6 months Netflix)
- Tablets: 5GB and above (6 months Netflix)
- Dongles: 18GB and above (6 months Netflix)
O2 says the offer is open to existing Netflix subscribers too.
It includes a six- or 12-month subscription to Netflix’s £7.99 per month plan, which lets you stream content in HD on a maximum of two screens at once.
That said, the fine print explains that “you may apply the value of the offer to a different Netflix streaming plan”. That means you can get Premium, which usually costs £9.99 per month (for 4K and simultaneous streaming on up to four screens at once) for just £2 a month.
However, the fine print continues: “Exchanges in this manner may alter the duration of the offer”.
