Forza Motorsport 6: Apex open beta coming next month

Forza 6: Apex will enter open beta for Windows 10 users on May 5, Turn 10 has announced.

The free-to-play version of Forza Motorsport 6 is coming exclusively to Windows 10, and will not support cross-play with the Xbox One version.

Players will have access to 63 cars, 20 tracks and 6 different locations in the upcoming release.

It will also support a dynamic weather system and full damage models for each vehicle. Those with beefy machines can run the game at 4K resolutions, complete with DirectX 12 support.

Developer Turn 10 plan to update the game throughout 2016, concentrating mainly on performance improvements instead of content updates.
