Forza 6

Forza 6 should feature wet weather and night racing according to a new leak.

Ahead of the game’s full reveal at E3 2015 next week, a new report suggests Forza 6 will introduce two of the most highly-anticipated features to the series.

Leaked images on the official Xbox site in Japan (now remove) suggest that Forza 6 will feature night racing and wet weather conditions – something that the series has lacked until now (aside from Forza Horizon 2).

A trio of shots emerged on the Japanese website, showing three GT cars racing at night, while in another shot a Ferrari can be seen driving through the rain.

You also get a better look at the Ford GT racing among a pack of cars on a city track.

The Japanese official Xbox site also revealed that the game will feature 2-player split-screen support, along side 24-player races and the return of the Drivatars, as spotted by IGN.

Apparently the game will span 26 world-famous locations with over 450 cars to try out.

The Ford GT is this year’s cover car for Forza 6, a deal which enabled developer Turn 10 to work closely to the developers, engineers and designers at Ford during the designing stages of the cars and the game.

“We’ve been doing this game series for a long time,” explained Turn 10’s John Wendl. “But this is the first time we’ve been able to launch a car and a game at the same time.”

The full launch for Forza Motorsport 6 is coming at E3 2015, probably during the Microsoft press conference on June 15.

According to Turn 10, Forza 6 will be the “most technically advanced racing simulator to date, offering a fun and realistic automotive experience for both car lovers and gamers.”
