Football Manager 2017 Release Date and Pre-Order: How to download FM17 before everyone else

Football Manager 2017 release date: When is Football Manager 2017 out, how can you pre-order it, and how much does it cost? Everything you need to know about this year’s big football management sim – including how to download the beta ahead of time.

Some football games warrant serious discussion, FIFA vs PES being an obvious example. But when it comes to football management simulations, there’s little debate as to which is best – with all due respect to the legacy of the Championship Manager brand, it’s been Football Manager or Football Manager since 2004.

Cometh the new season, cometh the latest instalment of the wildly addictive series, and Football Manager 2017 is set to be released on November 4 for PC, Mac and Linux.

Want to get it ahead of time? Sports Interactive has confirmed that anyone who pre-orders the game will get access to a beta download two weeks prior to the full launch.

The game costs £34.99 and purchasing it also bags you the stand-alone Football Manager Touch 2017 mobile app and accompanying DLC – an offer which is good whether or not you buy it ahead of time or not.

If you bought previous versions of FM over Steam, you’re also entitled to an additional discount of up to 20%.

You can grab your copy now over on the Football Manager website, or for an idea of what to expect, check out our Football Manager 2016 review (spoiler: it was pretty damn good).
