Flying cars? Where Larry Page is going we won’t need roads
It’s been a great 24 hours for Back to the Future fans. Hot on the heels of the announcement the iconic DeLorean will return to production next year, comes word that Google co-founder Larry Page is working on flying cars.
According to a Bloomberg report, the Alphabet CEO secretly owns the Zee.Aero start up, which sits next door to Google HQ in Mountain View.
The sources say the company, which isn’t affiliated with Google or Alphabet, is working on an “all-electric plane that could take off and land vertically – a flying car.”
The billionaire but has worked to keep his involvement private and internally goes by the name GUS, meaning “guy upstairs.”

According to the report, Page’s interest in flying cars doesn’t end there. He’s also an investor in another firm called Kitty Hawk, which is run by Sebastian Thurn, the man behind Google’s self-driving car initiative.
While other companies are also involved in the sector, those associated with Page are blazing the trail, according to the report. Page himself has not commented on the report.
