Nintendo has confirmed the first Nintendo Direct of 2015 will air tomorrow, January 14.
The North American and European Nintendo Directs will take place on January 14, as confirmed by the Nintendo Twitter feeds.
Starting at 2pm GMT, the first Nintendo Direct of 2015 will detail the Nintendo Wii U and 3DS titles to launch this coming Spring.
“The first #NintendoDirectEU of 2015 airs on 14/01 at 14:00 GMT with a focus on spring 2015 releases for #3DS and #WiiU”.
Hopefully, the prominent Nintendo Direct will reveal when the New Nintendo 3DS will arrive in the UK, Europe and US.
It debuted in Japan last October, and was then released in Australia and New Zealand in November. Nintendo hasn’t yet confirmed when the handheld will land here.
It’s likely that Nintendo could lift the lid on some of the release dates for games announced at E3, including Mario Maker, Starfox for Wii U, Splatoon and Yoshi’s Woolly World.
Of course, we’d absolutely love to hear more about Legend of Zelda for Wii U, which was teased in a small trailer at E3 2014.
But it was officially announced during a January Nintendo Direct back in 2013.

The most recent Nintendo Direct back in November 2014 was used to reveal a number of surprises including The Legend of Zela: Majora’s Mash 3D, a remake of the classic N64 game.
“We were told by Mr. Miyamoto that he felt there were a lot of users who finished the original without even noticing all the hidden events scattered around the town,” said Zelda series producer Eiji Aonuma. “He said that he wanted us to make sure users were more aware of them this time around.”
