Fire Emblem Fates finally coming to Europe this May

Nintendo confirmed the May 20 release date for Fire Emblem Fates during yesterday’s Direct Presentation, along with new details on the game’s special edition.

The special edition will include all three versions of the game – Birthright, Conquest and Revelation – as well as an artbook, poster and some other exclusive goodies.

All three versions will be bundled onto a single 3DS game card in the special edition, otherwise you can buy Birthright and Conquest separately. Unfortunately, Revelation will be exclusive to the Nintendo eShop after release.

To top it all off, Nintendo has also announced a special edition console that will launch alongside the game in Europe.

We assume the game will be pre-installed on the limited edition console, otherwise you may have to buy it separately.

Fire Emblem Fates launched in North America earlier last month, and has since sold over 300,000 copies, making it the most successful launch in franchise history.
