According to sources at Gematsu, the Final Fantasy XV release date will be announced later this month.
The publication claims to have “three independent sources” who predict the game will launch on Friday, September 30 for PS4 and Xbox One.
Square Enix will announce the release date at Uncovered: Final Fantasy XV, an event to take place in Los Angeles on March 30.

The event is set to reveal a number of new details about the game, including its long-awaited release date, if rumours ring true.
Final Fantasy XV was first announced as Final Fantasy Versus XIII at E3 2006, until its re-reveal at E3 2013.
