New FIFA 17 Trailer: Massive update to gameplay features revealed

The latest FIFA 17 trailer has dropped, and it shows off a pretty big update to key gameplay features like corners, free kicks, and penalties.

FIFA 17 is shaping up to be radically different this year. OK, it’s still a football game, but as EA’s developers have noted, it’s also a “major leap forward” for the popular series.

So far, we know that the Frostbite engine is being introduced, the game features a new story mode called The Journey – and, yes, that Man United did actually need a new striker.

The new trailer adds another piece to the puzzle, demonstrating how set pieces are being overhauled as part of the title’s rewrite.

The video below shows Real Madrid starlet James Rodriguez taking free kicks, penalties and corners. Give it a watch and see what you think.
