FIFA 14 release date and pre-order exclusives revealed

EA Games has released the FIFA 14 release date and pre-order bundle details, revealing the football simulator will arrive in the UK September 27.

FIFA 14 will arrive in the UK September 27 for the Xbox 360, PC and PS3, with an Xbox One release already confirmed during the Xbox One reveal.

Anyone pre-ordering the game will receive the FIFA 14 Ultimate Team gold pack for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.

The FIFA 14 Ultimate Team Gold Pack will receive 24 gold packs, one per week for 24 weeks. Each of these packs contains items that can be used to strengthen and improve a player’s team.

“Each gold pack is a mix of 12 items, including players, contracts, stadiums, managers, staff, fitness, healing, balls, kits, and badges. Gold packs consist mostly of players rated 75 in-game, and include one rare item, such as enhanced player attributes, longer contracts, and the most coveted players,” reads the official press release.

EA Games revealed that over 3.4 million FIFA Ultimate Team games are played daily with over 17 million footballers transferred through the market daily too.

Players are keen to keep their squads as close to the real-world teams of their favourite players.

In the UK, fans of the series can pre-order FIFA 14 now through the EA Origin store, Game or Amazon.co.uk.

EA Sports also confirmed an exclusive deal with Xbox One, and will bring Madden NFL, UFC, NBA and FIFA 14 content only to Microsoft’s next-gen console.

The Xbox One will host 15 exclusive titles, including eight entirely new IPs.
