The FIFA 14 demo release date has been officially announced, with EA confirming the playable preview of the next instalment of the much loved football sim will land on September 10.
Set to be made available for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC based gamers on the same day, the September 10 FIFA 14 demo release comes a little over two weeks before the game hits retailers. A FIFA 14 release date has been set for September 27 in the UK. The game will launch in the US on September 24.
Letting gamers get a grip on the new FIFA 14 offering with its new physics and enhanced player and ball movements ahead of launch, it is not yet clear which teams will be involved in the playable FIFA 14 demo. With Lionel Messi having become the cover star of FIFA 14, it is possible that Barcelona could be one of the teams to take pride of place in the demo.
Earlier today Microsoft confirmed that FIFA 14 will come free with every Xbox One pre-order, making the game one of the first many will play on the next-gen console. FIFA 14 will be made available for all current and next-gen platforms.
“All pre-order Xbox One consoles in launch countries in Europe (including the UK) this Christmas will include a digital version of a blockbuster game, and the first of these bundles will be the best-selling sports franchise FIFA 14,” an official Microsoft spokesperson stated in correlation with the company’s pre-Gamescom 2013 press conference.
The FIFA 14 demo release date has been confirmed alongside the release of the latest FIFA 14 gameplay trailer which features a raft of action from within the upcoming title.
