Ever wanted to go bezerk and smash up an Apple Store? Here’s how much your iTantrum will cost.
A video went viral recently showing a Frenchman smashing up an Apple Store in Dijon, and the disgruntled chap has now faced justice, according to Le Figaro.
The unidentified man appeared in court and has been fined in excess of €20,000 (approximately a fiver these days) between the damages awarded to Apple and the security guard who confronted him.
He was also slapped with a six-month suspended prison sentence and two year probabation period.
In the video, the man is seen at first calmly browsing the store, before going full apeshit and smashing up various Macs and iPhones.
The reason? Apple apparently refused to replace the man’s iPhone. Image what he’d have done if he had a dodgy Note 7…
