Everyone’s Gone to the Rapture, the game set in a fictitious town in rural Shropshire, ended up with 3 awards from a total of 10 nominations. It won for Music and Audio Achievement and the Best Performer for Merle Dandridge, who also played Marlene in The Last of Us and Alyx Vance in Half-Life 2.

The first person adventure game, developed by The Chinese Room and SCE Santa Monica arrived on the PS4 late last year and earned praise for its immersive story and beautifully presented countryside images.

In other categories, Rocket League captured an impressive trio of awards for Family, Multiplayer and Sport games. Her Story also scooped three awards for Game Innovation, Best Mobile or Handheld Game and Best Debut Game.

The BAFTA for Best Original Property went to Until Dawn. Bloodborne won Best Game Design, while the eSports Audience Award went to Smite.
