Fallout 4 pre-loading confirmed for PS4, Xbox One and PC

You will be able to pre-load Fallout 4 ready for release on all platforms, Bethesda has confirmed.

Bethesda’s upcoming post-apocalyptic adventure Fallout 4 is only two weeks away, and news on the title is coming thick and fast.

Marketing executive Pete Hines confirmed on Twitter yesterday that Fallout 4 will support pre-loading on PS4, Xbox One and PC.

The exact time and date pre-loading will be available in unclear, but Hines said to expect it at least a “few days” before the November 10 release date.

Pre-loading Fallout 4 will allow you to jump into the Boston Wasteland the second the clock strikes midnight on November 10.

It’s a little surprising that pre-loading for the title is supported by all three platforms, considering it’s still a new feature for the PS4 and Xbox One.

Anyone who pre-orders Fallout 4 on the Xbox One will receive a free digital copy of Fallout 3, playable via backwards compatibility.

PS4 owners can bag themselves a sweet looking new theme if they pre-order digitally, no sign of Fallout 3 though.

Finally, PC owners get a free Mister Handy Announcer Pack for DOTA 2, great if you’re a fan of  MOBAS.

Fallout 4 went gold last week, meaning development on the game is completed and it’s ready for distribution.

Bethesda is now hard at work on Fallout 4’s downloadable content, which will be a part of the game’s Season Pass.

Fallout 4 will launch on November 10 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
