Fallout 4 is finally getting mods on PS4
User-created mods are finally available for Fallout 4 on PS4, months after Bethesda said it would not be bringing them to the platform.
Players can now download and install Fallout 4 modifications on Sony’s console, Bethesda announced in a recent blog post.
The developer recently updated the title’s Creation Kit to allow the implementation of PS4 mods, meaning you’ll need to give that a spruce up before installing anything.
Unfortunately for PS4 owners, mods on the platform are plug-ins only and cannot be archived for future use. It’s also worth noting that mod storage is limited to 900MB, a sharp decrease compared to Xbox One.

Bethesda originally delayed mod support on PS4 due to porting issues, and then cancelled them altogether after disagreements with Sony.
Thankfully, the two came to some sort of compromise as the feature is now available for both Fallout 4 and Skyrim: Special Edition, albeit in a limited capacity compared to other platforms.
