Fallout 4 DLC “not far off” according to Bethesda

Fallout 4 DLC news is on the way, judging by a recent tease by Bethesda. The developer is also planning a “complete overhaul” of the game’s survival mode.

Since launching back in November 2015 Fallout 4 has received an assortment of updates, but so far there has been no sign of DLC.

Now it seems Bethesda is ready to start teasing us about upcoming expansions, and plans to make some kind of reveal in the coming weeks.

Writing on Twitter, Bethesda outlined its future plans for Fallout 4.

“We know you’re ready to learn what’s coming for Fallout 4 DLC. We’re not far off, and we think you’ll be excited.”

Fallout 4’s DLC plan was announced back in September 2015, two months before the game’s release.

All future DLC will be available as part of the Fallout 4 Season Pass, which will cost you around £20. You can also opt to purchase each expansion individually, although that may cost you more in the long run.

Bethesda released a total of five paid expansions for Fallout 3. These included: Operation Anchorage, The Pitt, Point Lookout, Broken Steel and Mothership Zeta.

We imagine Fallout 4 will follow a similar pattern, with a selection of content to come over the course of 2016.

Finally, Bethesda has announced it will be making significant changes to Fallout 4’s survival mode.

“We’re also doing a complete overhaul of Fallout 4 Survival mode. Food, sleep, diseases, danger and more. Stay tuned.”

Hopefully it will be updated to work in a similar fashion to the hardcore mode found in Fallout: New Vegas.
