Even Barack Obama is burning Samsung over Galaxy Note 7 woes
Try as Samsung might to stop people making fun of the Galaxy Note 7 palaver, it might have a problem shutting up the leader of the free world.
Yes, even US president Barack Obama had a laugh at Samsung’s expense during a speech on Thursday.
The outgoing White House inhabitant was speaking at a college in Miami when he used buggy smartphones as an example of why Republicans repealing the Affordable Care Act (aka Obamacare) would be a really dumb idea.
He said (via CBS Miami): “When one of these companies comes out with a new smartphone, and it has a few bugs, what do they do? They fix it, they upgrade. Unless it catches fire and then they just, then they pull it off the market.
“But you don’t go back to using a rotary phone! You don’t say, well we’re repealing smartphones — we’re just gonna do the dial-up thing.”

Just yesterday it emerged a video of a popular GTA V mod that replaced a sticky bomb with the Note 7 had been removed from YouTube at Samsung’s request.
