Elder Scrolls Online returns to high fantasy with new Summerset expansion
Bethesda Softworks has announced Elder Scrolls Online: Summerset, the next major expansion for the popular MMORPG.
The upcoming expansion will be launching across PS4, Xbox One and PC on June 5, 2018. PC players can enjoy an early access period from May 25.
This will mark the first time Elder Scrolls will return to the Summerset Isles since Elder Scrolls: Arena, which was released way back in 1994.
Boasting an entirely new zone filled with 30+ hours of questing, Summerset will provide fans with ample amounts of new content.
New mechanics are also set to be introduced including a new skill tree based on the Psijic Order and Jewelry Crafting, a feature fans have been waiting several years for.

Summerset will also be far more accessible for new players, meaning they won’t need to grind through the base game and its subsequent expansions to play with seasoned friends.
This is largely thanks to a new tutorial that introduces basic controls and concepts before unleashing you into the open world.
We had a blast with the original Elder Scrolls Online, scoring it 8/10 in our original review. Check out a snippet below:
“If you had The Elder Scrolls Online down as another MMO turkey, think again. This is a good Elder Scrolls game and a solid MMO, even if it can’t quite scale the same heights as Skyrim or provide such a satisfying experience for solo players.”
