EE has announced that, starting tomorrow, its EE TV smart box will offer the Now TV streaming service.
This is in addition to EE TV’s existing roster of content, which currently includes 70 Freeview channels, 13 of which are in HD, and 18 on-demand apps.
Pippa Dunn, EE TV’s Chief Marketing Officer, said: “We’ve developed the EE TV service so that exciting new content and services can be regularly added to enhance our customers home TV viewing experiences.”
“The Now TV app is a great addition to our current content line up – providing customers with opportunities to watch some of the world’s most popular TV series, live sports action and international movie blockbusters.”
Now TV means users can lump on a raft of bonus content courtesy of Sky, although there’ll be a surcharge to access the new goodies.
The cheapest package is the Entertainment Month Pass. This gets you a month’s access to 250 box sets and 13 pay TV channels, all for £6.99.
The box sets include Mad Men and Downton Abbey, while the channels include Sky Atlantic, Sky 1, and MTV.

Gidon Katz, Director of Now TV, said: “With Game of Thrones, the world’s most talked about show available to watch from the very beginning, there couldn’t be a better time for EE TV customers to enjoy Now TV.”
“Whether you’re a film fan and want access to Sky Movies or wants to watch the biggest games on Sky Spots, its great for TV fans as Now TV offers something for everyone.”
