EE Power brings free replacement power bars to all

Tired of your smartphone running out of juice? Fret not weary traveller, starting today, April 16, EE will begin giving out free power bars to all of its customers.

Helping ensure both its pay monthly and PAYG users never fall foul of ailing battery life again, the 4G network has launched its latest initiative, EE Power.

A complimentary perk to all who have made use the network for at least three months, EE Power will see users handed a free, branded, 2600mAh battery booster.

Making this an even better deal for you, if you forget to recharge your power bar, you can simply pop in to any EE store and trade it in for one full of juice. You can trade in your power bar as often as you like.

All eligible customers can text ‘POWER’ to 365 in order to receive a promo code. Once this unique identifier has been received, users can head to any EE store to pick up their free power bar.

“Almost everyone’s experienced the frustration associated with running out of battery and it always seems to happen when you need your phone the most,” EE’s Chief Marketing Officer, Pippa Dunn said.

With EE Power, we’re trying to help by giving our customers a Power Bar that can simply be swapped for a fully charged one at any of our stores, at any time, for free.
