EE has launched a new range of pay as you go packages that will provide 4G connectivity for as little as £1 per week.
The UK's biggest mobile network was the first to bring the country 4G network speeds, but the initial roll-out came at quite a cost. Now the company is bringing 4G to the masses with its new pay as you go plans.
All of EE's new PAYG "packs" will offer 4G connectivity. These packs are available in three flavours: data packs, talks and text packs, and everything packs.
The data pack gives you 100MB of data, 10 minutes of talk time, and 10 texts for just £1 per week. Talk and text packs also start from £1 a week, which gives you 50 texts and 25 minutes of talk time. There are larger, more typical monthly offers too.
Finally the Everything pack, as the name suggests, gives you greater allowances in all three, and is not available at the £1 weekly rate. However, it does now include a data allowance as standard from just £10 per month - no bolt-ons required.
Another interesting new feature of these packages is EE's loyalty scheme. If you stick with the network, every three months you'll be given additional minutes, texts, or megabytes - the choice is yours.
EE's new wallet-friendly 4G PAYG packs are available to sign up for now.
