Earn some extra goodies by playing the Metal Gear Survive beta

Later this month will see another open beta for Metal Gear Survive coming to PS4, Xbox One and PC.

Taking place from February 16 until February 18, this will mark the first time Konami’s third-person shooter will be playable by the public on PC.

The beta includes three missions across two unique maps, all of which will be playable in co-op mode with your friends online.

Players can also gain a participation bonus for completing all of the beta offerings. This is a collection of items that can be used in the full game.

These items will consist of the following. It’s a small bundle, but should be helpful against future zombie hordes:

  • FOXHOUND Name Plate
  • Accessory Metal Gear REX Head
  • Accessory Bandana

Games Editor Brett Phipps had a surprisingly good time with Metal Gear Survive. Check out some of his thoughts below:

‘I didn’t expect to like Metal Gear Survive as much as I did, especially after the opening hour of the game. However, it soon sinks in its hooks and becomes a very entertaining game of balancing resources and limited abilities – and, ironically, surviving.’
