EA promises fresh Star Wars Battlefront Star Cards and maps for free
EA DICE has promised fresh Star Wars Battlefront maps and Star Cards free for all players.
You’ll be happy to hear that EA DICE has confirmed it will offer additional content outside of the Star Wars Battlefront Season Pass.
That’s really great news because the Star Wars Battlefront Season Pass is a whopping £40 (on top of the £40 you just paid for the main game).
The main issue with the Season Pass is that the game really needs those additional maps, modes, Heroes and other things, because it’s just a bit thin on the ground in terms of content right now.
But, on the Battlefront website, EA has confirmed the following:
“We will be adding more of what you love about the game, like new maps and Star Cards for free in the coming months, in addition to all of the content we have coming with the Season Pass.”

Hopefully, this goes beyond the free Battle of Jakku content coming in early December (December 1 for pre-order peeps and December 8 for everyone else).
It’s a little strange EA hasn’t mentioned this before now, especially before attempting to flog the expensive Season Pass.
The Star Wars Battlefront Season Pass consists of four lots of DLC that collectively introduce four new Heroes and Villains, four new game modes and 16 additional multiplayer maps.
There will be over 20 new items too, such as weapons, vehicles and Star Cards.
