EA Origin appears to have been hacked with widespread reports of user accounts being stolen and several parts of the service being unavailable.
User reports of problems started in the early evening of the 3rd of July with some reporting that they’ve received emails about an email address change on their account while others have simply found themselves locked out of their online gaming experience.
Other users have even found their usernames to have been changed and Origin game achievements have been lost.
While the main Origin service now appears to be back online parts of it are still unavailable, such as the user account settings pages.
EA has been guiding some users via Twitter to this support page for instructions on how to regain access to their account.
