EA has kicked off a Black Friday sale on its Origin digital games service.

Other bargains include Dead Space 3 (£4.99), Crysis 3 (£4.99), and Need for Speed Most Wanted (£2.49).

But it's not just games that have had their prices slashed, there are big savings on DLC and expansion packs too. Battlefield 4 Support Shortcut Kit is now just £4.39 (down from £5.49), while Need for Speed Rivals Complete Movie Pack is just £2.69 (down from £5.39).

Black Friday takes place this Friday. It started in the US, when shops started offering huge discounts the day after Thanksgiving, and has quickly become a favourite shopping day on these shores.

Amazon is currently holding a Black Friday Deals Week, with plenty of bargains to be had. Even Apple usually gets into the spirit, though it keeps mum about what deals it offers.

On the gaming front, Microsoft is offering a stack of discounts for Black Friday, though they're exclusive to Xbox Live Gold subscribers. They include 50% off Defense Grid 2, 50% off Strider, and 75% off Angry Birds Star Wars.

Will you be picking up a bargain this Black Friday? Who offers the best deals? Let us know in the comments.
