During the company’s latest earnings briefing (via GameSpot), GameStop COO Tony Bartel said he expects multiple new console announcements during the show, as well as a clearer idea of the next six months of software.
“We expect E3 to focus on key titles in the back half of the year and console announcements," he said. "We also expect VR to generate significant gaming consumer and press interest."
It’s important to note that Bartel doesn’t explicitly state which consoles will be revealed at E3.

Although Nintendo has said only The Legend of Zelda for Wii U will be on show, could it spring a surprise and actually reveal the Nintendo NX? Probably not, but it’s fun to dream.
It’s a very exciting time in the games industry, with new consoles on the horizon from all the major players and plenty of amazing games coming out over the next 12 months, as well as the launch of PlayStation VR, we’re in for a treat.
