Dyson DC59 Digital Slim vacuum unveiled with V6 motor

Dyson has expanded its range of handheld vacuum cleaners with the Dyson DC59 formally unveiled packing the company’s powerful V6 motor.

Boasting improved suction over the company’s past cordless vacuums thanks to a new two tier radial cyclone suction system, the new Dyson DC59 features the new V6 motor which offers one and a half times the power than previous models.

“The capability of our digital motors to power our cordless technology is accelerating,” Dyson founder and CEO James Dyson stated. “The new V6 Dyson digital motor is faster and stronger than its predecessor with a higher power density; giving DC59 the performance of a mains powered machine without being tethered to the wall.”

Dyson DC59 Features
A cleaning option capable of tackling everything from the household clean to a quick wiz around the car, all via those high and hard to reach corners, the Dyson DC59 features a trigger system for more power savvy and efficient cleaning control.

Despite the increased power, Dyson has improved the staying power of the Dyson DC59 over its past digital slim vacuums, with a 20 minute battery life now offered. This battery life drops to 6 minutes when making use of the unit’s ‘boost mode’ a function which further increases suction for when tackling stubborn dirt.

Coming with a wall mounted docking station for improved storage, the Dyson DC59 weighs just 2KG and benefits from a two year parts and labour guarantee.

Featuring a revised motorhead tool to better clean both carpeted and hard wood floors, carbon fibre bristles are included for improved suction with reduced static.

Dyson DC59 Release Date and Price

Set to hit retailers on October 1 the Dyson DC59 is far from the cheapest vacuum on the market. The Dyson DC59 price has been set at a penny shy of £350.
