The Dying Light UK release date has been delayed by a month, developer Techland has confirmed.
Techland has revealed the Dying Light release date in Europe will be on February 27, a month after it was due to launch.
Well, that’s in boxed form anyway. Dying Light will be released in digital form for Xbox One and PS4 on January 28.
The boxed copies of the game won’t be released until February 28 in Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Australia.
However, there is a bit of a silver lining if you’ve pre-ordered the physical edition of the free-running zombie slasher.
Techland is gifting gamers a set of Dying Light DLC to apologise for the physical copy delays.
You will get the two DLC packs entitled Cuisine & Cargo and Ultimate Survivor Bundle for free.
The Be the Zombie multiplayer mode will also be available for free on all platforms across the globe. This multiplayer mode lets you take control of the Night Hunter and invade other people’s games.
“Although the changes affect only the release of boxed copies in certain territories, we want to show all of you our appreciation for your continued support,” said Dying Light in a statement. “Thus, we’re really happy to announce that “Be the Zombie” will be available for free to everyone, on all platforms, in all territories.”
“We want to thank you for your patience and support in this matter and can’t wait for you to enjoy playing Dying Light and invading other players’ game in the “Be the Zombie” mode.”
