Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen is on its way to PS4 and Xbox One

Capcom’s action RPG is coming to PS4 and Xbox One later this year, the publisher has announced.

This news comes courtesy of Famitsu, who are reporting a release window of ‘Fall 2017’ in its homeland of Japan.

A western release date is yet to be announced, although we may hear more about the upcoming port ahead of E3 2017 next month.

The next generation versions are apparently being released as a way of celebrating the original title’s fifth anniversary. Time sure does fly, huh?

Dark Arisen is an enhanced release of Dragon’s Dogma with additional characters, locations and questlines for players to discover.

It’s relatively safe to assume that the PS4 and Xbox One adaptations will receive similar visual upgrades to 2016’s PC release.

Dragon’s Dogma is an excellent RPG, and this could potentially be the first time many of us get to experience it.
