Doctor Strange trailer: Benedict Cumberbatch is psychic – and American?

When there’s some strange in your neighbourhood, who you gonna call? Benedict Cumberbatch, apparently.

Marvel Studios has released the first two-minute long teaser trailer for its upcoming feature film Doctor Strange.

The movie is based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name, and stars Cumberbatch as mystical surgeon-turned-wizard Doctor Strange.

He’s also gained a beard and an American accent. Check it out:

Other members of the Doctor Strange cast include Chiwetel Ejiofor (12 Years a Slave), Rachel McAdams (The Notebook), Michael Stuhlbarg (Steve Jobs), Tilda Swinton (Benjamin Button), and Mads Mikkelsen (Casino Royale).

The film is directed by Scott Derrickson, also know for Hellraiser: Inferno, The Exorcism of Emily Rose, and Sinister.

Doctor Strange concluded principal photography this month, and is scheduled for release on November 4, 2016.
