Disney has apparently dropped support for the Disney Infinity 3.0 sandbox title, which arrived in November in the form of a Star Wars starter set.
As reported by TouchArcade, a gamer received a reply from Disney claiming “there are currently no plans for further updates to the Apple TV version” of the game.
The news is a blow for early Apple TV owners who purchased the Play Sets, as there’ll be no new content and their existing figures may not work in the future.

It also comes amid a telling silence around premium new gaming content for Apple’s recently-revamped set-top box.
Since an early swell of content in the run up to the holiday season, the newsworthy titles have slowed in recent months.
As TouchArcade points out, there are only a couple of new games a week added to the featured section of the tvOS App Store.
Although Apple is selling dedicated controllers for new hockey puck, the gaming experience on the Siri remote leaves a lot to be desired.
It seems safe to say the major consoles have very little to worry about.
