The disgo 8400g has been launched as disgo’s first 3G-enabled tablet, with a 7.9-inch HD screen and Flash compatibility.

The feature-packed yet affordably priced disgo 8400g offers a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 1.2GHz dual-core processor running Google’s Android 4.1.3 Jelly Bean OS.

“We are proud to be launching a 7.9-inch 3G product with such fantastic functionality at a great price,” said disgo’s Purchasing Director, Luke Noonan. “The added benefit of 3G makes it an ideal product to use when on the move, letting users have continual access to content on the web.”

“The 8400g happily bridges the gap between quality and price for a handy, smaller tablet.”

disgo 8400g Features

The disgo 8400g features a glass on glass 7.9-inch 1,024 x 768p HD resolution screen, running Android 4.1.3 Jelly Bean rather than the latest Android 4.2 seen in the Google Nexus 4. The tablet is the first of disgo’s tablet range to offer 3G and GPS as well as Wi-Fi connectivity, and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 1.2GHz dual-core processor with 512MB of RAM.

Offering an 8 hour battery life via a 4800mAh Lithium-ion battery, the disgo 8400g ships with 4GB of internal storage, expandable via microSD card to 36GB and a pair of fairly low-res cameras: 0.3-megapixels in the front and 2-megapixels in the rear.

Equipped with a Qualcomm Adreno 203 2D/3D GPU, the disgo 8400g also features a 3.5mm headphone jack, built in microphone, stereo speakers and compatibility with Flash 11.1 technology.

With a durable, scratch resistant rear, the disgo 8400g is just 9mm thick, thinner than the 10.45mm body of the Google Nexus 7 despite having an iPad mini rivalling screen size.

disgo 8400g Release Date and Price
Priced at £149.99, the disgo 8400g is just £10 cheaper than the basic 16GB Wi-Fi only Google Nexus 7. The tablet will be available from the end of the month, from Currys, PC World and other online and high-street stores.
