FIFA 13 has lost top spot in the UK All Format Gaming Chart as Capcom’s Devil May Cry claims top honours for the week ending January 19.

Storming to the top of the UK All Format Gaming Chart in its debut week, the new Devil May Cry release has recorded publisher Capcom’s first chart success in almost four years, displacing EA Sport’s FIFA 13 as the UK’s highest selling game of the week.

Following the latest Devil May Cry offering and FIFA 13, Activision’s globally dominant first-person shooter Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 remains in third position despite a 26 per cent drop in week-on-week sales.

Making way for the chart topping new entry, Ubisoft’s Far Cry 3 has dropped two places to fourth, lining up ahead of a pair of non-movers in Need for Speed Most Wanted and Just Dance 4 in spots five and six respectively.

Climbing one place to seventh, Football Manager 2013 is the second sports release to make the top ten, leapfrogging ahead of Hitman Absolution which has slumped from fourth to eighth in just seven days following a 50 per cent reduction in sales.

Rounding out the UK All Format Gaming Chart for the week ending January 19, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim lines up in ninth ahead of Assassin’s Creed 3, up one place to tenth.
