Destiny servers are going offline for a bit next week

The online servers for Destiny will be offline across all platforms on May 15, Bungie has announced.

No need to panic, though. The downtime will only last for roughly four hours as Bungie carries out some essential maintenance for the online shooter.

At 10:00 PT/13:00 PT/18:00 GMT on May 15, Bungie will begin the scheduled maintenance. From this time you’ll be unable to sign in or access specific features on the Destiny companion app.

This could be one of the last periods of scheduled maintenance for Destiny until its long-anticipated sequel rolls around later this year.

Destiny 2 will launch on September 8 for PS4, Xbox One and PC. An extensive gameplay reveal is also set for May 18. We’ll be sure to deliver all the biggest news from the reveal as it happens.
