UPDATE: The Destiny House of Wolves expansion won't include a brand new raid, but instead offer a three-player co-operative multiplayer mode.

Instead of introducing a brand new Raid, gamers may be disappointed to hear that the second Destiny expansion pack will focus on a new three-player cooperative multiplayer arena mode.

"House of Wolves will not have a Raid activity. We didn't make this decision lightly. Our team has been humbled by the reception of Raids in Destiny and we are creating a new Raid for a release later this year," explained the latest Bungie blog post.

House of Wolves is the second and final expansion for Destiny and can be purchased as part of the Destiny Expansion Pass - £34.99. Or you can purchase the two expansions separately for £19.99 a piece.

Although neither Activision nor Bungie have outlined what exactly the House of Wolves expansion will offer, Bungie said earlier this year it will fix some of the mistakes found in The Dark Below.

I am unanimous in that

Apart from the new raid, I've got a nagging feeling we're be running down the same corridors again, in yet more cut content from the original game. Hopefully I'll be proven wrong.
