We already thought that Destiny 2 was set to launch in 2017, but presumed it might go the way of its predecessor and only be playable on PlayStation and Xbox consoles. However, new rumours suggest a PC reboot is also on the way.
The renewed speculation is based on a few different reports, with the latest surfacing on the NeoGAF forums.
There, a poster called benny_a wrote that a friend who worked at Activision had glimpsed an internal presentation where the publisher revealed to employees that the game was getting a PC version as well as launching for consoles.
That will be music to the ears of PC gamers, who were left out with the original Destiny.
The reports were backed by Kotaku's Jason Schreier, who claims to have heard the same from 'inside sources'.
Destiny 2 is being tipped as a fairly comprehensive reboot for the game, featuring entirely new content and characters.
The game remains unannounced by developer Bungie, but that's likely down to the fact that Destiny: Rise of Iron only just debuted.
Expect to learn more in early 2017 ahead of a likely E3 reveal and pre-Christmas Q3 release.
