December Games with Gold announced for Xbox One and Xbox 360

Microsoft has confirmed the free games we will be getting with December’s Games with Gold.

If you happen to be an Xbox Live gold member, you have access to handful of free games each and every month.

This month’s selection includes Thief and The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing for the Xbox One.

Xbox 360 owners will have the chance to play Castlestorm and Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising this December.

Thief will be available as a free download from December 16 to January 15, giving you an entire month to sneak about and steal stuff.

The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing will be available for the entirety of December, so no rush to download that.

Xbox 360 users will be able to download Castlestorm from December 1 up until the 15.

Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising comes into play on December 16, available until New Years Eve.

Thanks to the Xbox One’s newfound backwards compatibility, this month’s 360 offerings will also be playable on the Xbox One.

Remember that now you only have a few days to grab Pneuma: Breath of Life and Knight Squad for the Xbox One before they are no longer free to download.

This month’s selection of games is an interesting mix of AAA titles and indie gems, all of which are worth trying out.

Thief is a flawed yet enjoyable reboot of the beloved stealth franchise, and looks gorgeous on Xbox One.

Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising is an incredibly challenging and realistic FPS, and is sure to put the most hardcore of players to the test.
