Missed out on a Prime Day bargain? Amazon has kept the price of its Xbox One starter bundle at a great price for anyone still looking for a cheap deal.
Although it has struggled against the PS4, we think the Xbox One is still a great console. We scored it 9/10 in our Xbox One review and with its exclusive games including Halo 5, Rise of Tomb Raider and Forza Motorsport 6, as well as an upcoming instalment Gears of War, there’s a lot of mileage left
This is the cheapest basic set-up for Xbox One right now and comes complete with Kinect bar and three-game starter pack. It’s only slightly up on its Prime Day price and it’s still £60 off from the price in June.
WHAT WE SAID
“What launched two years ago as an awkward mess of a console, too focused on establishing the Xbox brand as Microsoft’s living room Trojan Horse, is now a brilliant, competitive games machine with a growing library of equally brilliant games.”
WHAT OWNERS SAY
This Xbox One bundle has had 74 reviews on Amazon with 61 leaving a 5 star verdict and a further 7 leaving 4 stars. Here’s the top review:
“Excellent Prime Day deal which took awhile to set-up because of the software up-date and the downloading of the freebie games which are by activation codes. It works very well and has already kept our granddaughter amused for many hours. Highly recommended!” — Kenneth, 15 July 2016
