Amazon is now selling its inventive Dash Buttons at a newly low price of £0.99 apiece, down from the usual £4.99 tag.
For the unaware: Amazon’s Dash Buttons are basically computerised stick-on buttons that allow you to order products from Amazon. They’re branded and are set to specific products, allowing you make specific purchases with a single press.
For instance, there’s a Gillette button that lets you order new razors, which you’ll want to put in your bathroom, while the Nescafé Dolce Gusto button is probably best placed in your kitchen. And we’ll let you decide the best spot for the Durex Dash Button…
“In the lead to Black Friday Amazon will be releasing a different deal nearly every day,” said an Amazon spokesperson. “Today, Amazon is offering their Dash Buttons for just £0.99, but you still get £4.99 off your first order.”
They added: “Each Dash Button is paired with a product of your choice, which is selected during the setup process. When you’re running low, simply press Dash Button, ensuring you never run out of your essentials again."
Here’s a short list of some of the most popular Dash Button brands:
- Right Guard
- Optimum Nutrition
- Philips Sonicare
- Air Wick
The good news is that you’ll still get £4.99 of Dash Button credit after your first press, even with the new discounted price.
The Amazon Dash Buttons work over your Wi-Fi connection, and re-order your favourite product from a specific brand. You’ll select the product you like during setup, which you can manage through an app on your iOS or Android smartphone. You’ll also receive a notification every time you place an order – so can quickly cancel the order for 12,000 toilet rolls made by your dog’s prodding nose.
There’s also an Order Protection setting that won’t let you place a new order until your prior order is delivered – no matter how many times the Dash Button is press.
The only caveat to all of this is that you’ll need to be an Amazon Prime member to bag this deal. You can sign up for Prime below:
