Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 will not see a western release, according to a Koei Tecmo representative.
If you're a fan of jiggly volleyball simulators the following news might be a bit of a downer.
The next title in the popular fighter’s spin-off series, Dead or Alive Xtreme 3, may never see the light of day in Europe or North America.
This news comes from the official Dead or Alive Facebook page, where a fan asked whether we should look forward to a Western release of Xtreme 3.
"We do not bring DoAX3 to the West and won't have any plan change in the future. Thank you for asking,” a representative told fans.
"Do you know many issues happening in video game industry with regard to how to treat female in video game industry? We do not want to talk those things here. But certainly we have gone through in last year or two to come to our decision. Thank you."
The response may be badly written, but it sounds pretty definitive to us.

Dating Sim publisher HuniePot has unofficially offered to purchase the rights for $1 million, although we doubt much will come of this.
Online retailer PlayAsia has pointed out that the Japanese version will feature English subtitle options, so you could always import the game.
Dead or Alive Xtreme 2 launched for the Xbox 360 back in November 2006 and was also published by Tecmo.
