EA Games has confirmed that cutesy platformer Unravel is coming on February 9.
Developer Coldwood Interactive and Electronic Arts have confirmed that Unravel will arrive on PS4, Xbox One and PC early next year.
The game is a cutesy puzzle/platformer that follows the tale of Yarny, a little character made entirely of yarn. One length of yarn to be precise.
It's your job to get him through the dangers he faces on his journey, collecting balls of yarn to extend his unravelling time.
"Gaming is a powerful platform, able to inspire players and touch their hearts. With Unravel, we're hoping to do just that," explained Martin Sahlin, Creative Director at Coldwood. "Yarny's quest is to mend broken bonds and the yarn represents the love and connection between people. Along the way, we'll test your cleverness with environment-based puzzles inspired by our home in Northern Sweden."

The game is set in Northern Scandinavia and sees Yarny making his way through a variety of terrains and being forced to overcome numerous obstacles.
You'll need to use Yarn's thread to navigate these obstacles in increasingly ingenious ways.
Unravel will retail for £14.99, but EA Access members can access the game a week earlier on Xbox One and will receive 10% discount on the full title.
