Microsoft has revealed, much to the delight of gamers, that Crackdown is being remade for the Xbox One.
Although there is no confirmed loose release date for the game, Microsoft's Phil Spencer revealed that the game is in development by the original team behind Crackdown over at Platinum Games.
No resolution or frame rate for the title has been revealed, but we do know that it will feature a whole new campaign, fresh multiplayer options and will "reimagine the open world experience."
From the quick gameplay demo we saw lots of neon lighting, explosions and devastating gameplay mechanics, blowing up buildings occupied by your enemies.
Clearly the fundamentals won't change, then, so you'll be playing a super-charged policeman of the future taking the fight to gangs and developing your powers as you go.
