Topping the UK All Format Gaming Chart for a second consecutive week, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 sales for the week ending November 24 have eclipsed the week two sales of franchise predecessor Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, despite a hefty 81 per cent drop in sales from its opening week performance.
Following a November 20 Hitman Absolution UK release date, IO Interactive’s latest addition to the Hitman series has entered the gaming chart in second position ahead of podium position mainstay FIFA 13.
With Assassin’s Creed 3 holding strong in fourth position, former chart topper Halo 4 has slumped three spots to end the week in fifth, one place ahead of the week’s second highest new entry, LEGO: The Lord of the Rings.
Having added the recent cult hit that is the Gangnam Style dance sensation to its roster in the past seven days, Ubisoft’s Just Dance 4 has maintained its footing at seventh in the UK gaming chart with Skylanders Giants dropping a trio of places to end the week in eighth.
Still performing strong in the iOS app download charts, Criterion’s Need for Speed Most Wanted lines up as the UK’s ninth most popular all format console title whilst Dishonored has climbed back up the charts to round out the week’s top ten.
